I took a long break from my blog so it's time to catch up. Thanks Gaffer girls for that little push :)
Since my honors show in April...
* the show was a success- it looked great at JORDAN FAYE CONTEMPORARY (Baltimore, MD) and i even sold a few pieces!
* Bobby and i went through a terrible break up
*graduated Magna Cum Laude from Towson University a
nd received Departmental Honors, I should have been happy but the thought of life without the studio/studio family terrified me
*went through a creative slump and could have been compared to the grouch for most of my summer (break up
depression) Thank god for good friends who made it better! I did go to California for the first time with my sister to visit my dad while he had a job out there. Huntington
beach was sweeeet!
*did some promo work. i had a great time and gained a lot of good experience.
*was other shows at the JORDAN FAYE CONTEMPORARY throughout the summer and got into whatweekly:
*launched a DESIGN collective called: WITHOUT CONSTANT SUPERVISION with studio people. We did the Buyers Market Craft show in Baltimore! Not much $ success for me but i had a blast! The girls and I had a ton of fun and we got to talk to several artist and learn what it's like to do a trade show for yourself. Before this some of us including me had only worked as assistants to other exhibitors, this time we were the exhibitors.
AND i met someone at Buyers Market...
