Yesterday I visited one of the coolest art spaces i've ever seen. G40: The Summit is a HUGE exhibition in an empty office building. 5 normal office floors were completely transformed into this free flowing street art world. Most of the art was 2D and were inspired by graffiti, pop art, etc. It was the kind of art you'd find in the Juxtapoz magazine (my fav magazine!). There were a few sculptures, installations, and more traditional pieces mixed in as well.
There wasn't a real good flow for which way to walk. Sometimes it would be overwhelming with the amount of work there was to look at. There would be halls where each side was one room after another full of art. You could tell that it was somewhat divided, 1 or 2 artists would have a designated room/hall area.
Huge murals became pieces of art. You could tell the artists had total freedom with their space. There were murals that stretched from floor to ceiling.
